![]() ![]() Apart from the official additions from Google, it is widely reported that T-Mobile is adding some carrier specific changes and some user interface changes as well. The update brings your device to version number of either VU2DPE3 or VU1DPE3 depending upon your location and device model. That said, the update is rolling out as an over-the-air (OTA) update and it might take some time for the update to reach your device. Android 6.0 has brings some interesting features such as Google Now on Tap, better app permissions, a battery saving feature called Doze mode, improved notifications view, new system animations, and much more. It took nearly eight months for T-Mobile to release the update. Android Marshmallow was released back in October after being in developer phase for quite some time.
